★★★★★Neeru Das· 3 months ago“The ArtScience Museum, the largest Museum of Singapore, is located in Marina Bay in Singapore. It was opened in 2011 by Singapore's PM - Lee Hsien Loong. It features exhibitions that blend art, science, culture and technology. It also hosts touring exhibitions curated by other museums, in addition to a permanent exhibition created in conjunction with art collective team Lab. Unfortunately for us, our visit during 2023 did not reveal that in 2025, it was going for partnership with PGLang's when the museum was rebranded. The architecture now is said to be a form reminiscent of a lotus flower, featuring an exterior made of fibre-reinforced plastic on top of a steel lattice, looking like 'The Welcoming Hand of Singapore'. Art Science Museum is anchored by a round base in the middle, with ten extensions referred to as "fingers" in the shape of a flower. Each finger denotes a gallery space sporting skylights at its 'fingers - tips'. It has 21 gallery spaces covering 64,583 square feet. Rainwater is harvested and channelled down the centre of the building, flowing through its bowl-shaped roof into a reflecting pond at the lowest level of the building. The only permanent exhibition in the museum is 'Future World', which was created in collaboration with art collective team Lab. The museum also hosts progammes, along with exhibitions, including screenings at its Cinema and VR Gallery. Immediately after the entry, there is a relaxing area of a cafe, where one get a bite ir two. It was an interesting visit for the 6 of us, which took about a couple of hours of a warm morning.”

One of the highlights is Jewel Changi Airport, which itself feels like a tourist attraction rather than just part of an airport. The stunning Rain Vortex creates a magical atmosphere and is a must-visit spot for anyone traveling through Singapore. The airport also features unique attractions like Kinetic Rain, an artistic moving sculpture that is both relaxing and fascinating to watch, and the beautiful Cactus Garden, which offers a peaceful environment with a wide variety of cactus plants. Traveling between terminals is very convenient, as you can move easily using the free Skytrain service available inside the airport. This makes exploring different terminals simple and enjoyable. The immigration process is extremely fast and efficient—it took less than 30 seconds, which shows the excellent management and use of technology. There are also countless places to eat, ranging from quick snacks to full meals, along with many shopping options. Duty-free stores are available with a wide variety of international brands. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the gardens, which gave us the perfect view of the nightly light show. It was such a great way to end each evening. The staff on the hotel side truly bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. They are constantly checking to make sure you have everything you need and always do so with warmth and professionalism. The amenities in the room and the gifts were really special. As expected, this is an incredibly popular and iconic hotel, which does mean there are quite a few procedures in place to manage access to the facilities. Non-hotel guests are mostly unable to access the pool and restaurants, which is understandable, but we did find the rooftop bar experience a little over the top. Even as hotel guests, we needed a wrist stamp, wristband, and had to hand over our credit card for the duration of our visit. The infinity pool really is as amazing as it looks online. However, it’s worth noting that there are no umbrellas, and the cabanas are both difficult to secure and surprisingly hot due to the lack of airflow. One fantastic touch was the complimentary sunscreen available at the pool, which saved us as we hadn’t brought any. The hotel is attached to a casino, and it definitely carries that atmosphere throughout parts of the property. That said, the location is exceptional. It's directly connected to a high-end shopping mall, a great food court, and with easy access to the gardens and surrounding attractions. Overall, despite a few small frustrations with the bar, it’s an impressive hotel experience and absolutely worth staying at least once for the experience.”

Every time we requested something while we were out, the items were already waiting in our room when we returned. That level of efficiency and thoughtfulness is truly impressive. Housekeeping deserves huge praise for their attention to detail. They didn’t just clean the room — they neatly organized our phone and laptop cables, left cups exactly where we needed them, and made sure extra bedsheets we requested were already placed in the room. The room was also restocked daily without us having to ask. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety, and the breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive, making mornings even more enjoyable. The infinity pool is absolutely amazing, and the SkyBridge walk is fantastic and wheelchair-friendly, which we truly appreciated. The view from the room is stunning — waking up and ending the day with that skyline view felt unreal. This hotel truly spoils you with both luxury and service and sets the bar extremely high for what a hotel stay should be. After staying here, your expectations for hotel standards will definitely be raised. A flawless experience and highly recommended. We would absolutely stay here again!”
