The story
The ArtScience Museum opened in 2011 as part of the Marina Bay Sands complex and was designed by architect Moshe Safdie in the shape of a lotus flower, earning it the nickname 'The Welcoming Hand of Singapore'. Its curved 'petals' house gallery spaces that stage exhibitions exploring the intersection of art, science, technology and culture. It is best known for hosting the immersive Future World digital art installation created with teamLab.
