The story
Jewel Changi Airport opened in 2019, a nature-themed retail and entertainment complex linked to Changi Airport and designed by architect Moshe Safdie. Its dazzling centrepiece is the Rain Vortex, the world's tallest indoor waterfall, cascading through a lush indoor forest under a vast glass-and-steel dome. Jewel has become a destination in its own right, blending gardens, attractions, shopping and dining.

Getting there
Take the MRT to Changi Airport station on the East West Line and follow the link into Jewel; it connects directly to Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
Jewel Changi Airport isn’t within an easy walk of an MRT station — most visitors arrive by bus, taxi or a dedicated shuttle. Plan the last leg accordingly.
