The story

Bird Paradise opened in 2023 in Mandai as the successor to the long-running Jurong Bird Park, relocating its collection to a new home within the Mandai wildlife precinct. It houses thousands of birds across large walk-through aviaries recreating habitats from African wetlands to Southeast Asian rainforests. It is one of the largest bird parks in the world and Asia's largest.

What to see & do

  • 01The immersive walk-through aviaries recreating world habitats.

  • 03The African wetlands and Southeast Asian rainforest zones.
  • 04Free-flying bird presentations and feeding sessions.
  • 05The lush landscaped grounds designed around the birds.

Make the most of your visit

  • Book tickets online ahead and consider a multi-park Mandai pass.
  • Arrive early when birds are most active in the cool morning.
  • Check the schedule for feeding sessions and bird presentations.
  • Bring sun protection and water for the outdoor aviaries.
  • Allow a few hours to walk through all the aviaries.

Getting there

Take the MRT to Khatib or Springleaf station, then the Mandai Khatib Shuttle or bus 138 to the Mandai wildlife parks; a taxi is a faster option for the final stretch.

Bird Paradise isn’t within an easy walk of an MRT station — most visitors arrive by bus, taxi or a dedicated shuttle. Plan the last leg accordingly.

Walk times are real pedestrian routing (OSRM) from the attraction to each station entrance, not straight-line estimates.
