The story
The Night Safari opened in 1994 in Mandai as the world's first nocturnal wildlife park, allowing visitors to observe animals under gentle moon-like lighting after dark. Its trails and tram route wind through habitats recreating regions from the Himalayan foothills to the tropics, showcasing nocturnal creatures rarely seen active in daytime zoos. It remains one of Singapore's signature attractions.

Getting there
Take the MRT to Khatib or Springleaf station, then the Mandai Khatib Shuttle or bus 138 to the Mandai parks. A taxi is convenient for the return trip after dark.
Night Safari isn’t within an easy walk of an MRT station — most visitors arrive by bus, taxi or a dedicated shuttle. Plan the last leg accordingly.
