We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the gardens, which gave us the perfect view of the nightly light show. It was such a great way to end each evening. The staff on the hotel side truly bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. They are constantly checking to make sure you have everything you need and always do so with warmth and professionalism. The amenities in the room and the gifts were really special. As expected, this is an incredibly popular and iconic hotel, which does mean there are quite a few procedures in place to manage access to the facilities. Non-hotel guests are mostly unable to access the pool and restaurants, which is understandable, but we did find the rooftop bar experience a little over the top. Even as hotel guests, we needed a wrist stamp, wristband, and had to hand over our credit card for the duration of our visit. The infinity pool really is as amazing as it looks online. However, it’s worth noting that there are no umbrellas, and the cabanas are both difficult to secure and surprisingly hot due to the lack of airflow. One fantastic touch was the complimentary sunscreen available at the pool, which saved us as we hadn’t brought any. The hotel is attached to a casino, and it definitely carries that atmosphere throughout parts of the property. That said, the location is exceptional. It's directly connected to a high-end shopping mall, a great food court, and with easy access to the gardens and surrounding attractions. Overall, despite a few small frustrations with the bar, it’s an impressive hotel experience and absolutely worth staying at least once for the experience.”

Every time we requested something while we were out, the items were already waiting in our room when we returned. That level of efficiency and thoughtfulness is truly impressive. Housekeeping deserves huge praise for their attention to detail. They didn’t just clean the room — they neatly organized our phone and laptop cables, left cups exactly where we needed them, and made sure extra bedsheets we requested were already placed in the room. The room was also restocked daily without us having to ask. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety, and the breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive, making mornings even more enjoyable. The infinity pool is absolutely amazing, and the SkyBridge walk is fantastic and wheelchair-friendly, which we truly appreciated. The view from the room is stunning — waking up and ending the day with that skyline view felt unreal. This hotel truly spoils you with both luxury and service and sets the bar extremely high for what a hotel stay should be. After staying here, your expectations for hotel standards will definitely be raised. A flawless experience and highly recommended. We would absolutely stay here again!”

It’s a lively and iconic hawker centre with plenty of options and a nice atmosphere, especially in the evening when the streets are closed off for dining. We tried the halal stall and ordered chicken rice noodles, chicken basil vegetables, and tea tree something. While the portions were generous and the service was quick, the overall taste was quite different from what we expected. Everything had a strong seafood-like flavour profile (even the non-seafood items), which didn’t really appeal to us as I can’t stand sea food smell. It felt quite far from Pakistani taste preferences – the spices, seasoning, and balance were very different. If you’re in the mood to explore local Singaporean or Southeast Asian hawker food and try new things, Lau Pa Sat is a great place with lots of variety. However, if you’re particular about your food and want something closer to Pakistani cuisine, this might not be the best choice. Cleanliness was just fine for a busy hawker centre, and the pricing was reasonable. Good for tourists or casual explorers, but we probably won’t rush back.”

The Drinks: One thing to watch out for is that there are very few drink stalls, so the lines are very long. I bought an Iced Mango Peach ($2.80), but I wouldn't recommend it. It was extremely sweet and didn't contain any fresh fruit—it tasted mostly like syrup. I suggest skipping the "juices" here if you want something fresh. The Food & Service: I tried the Thunder Tea Rice ($6.20). It was okay, though it didn't quite fit my personal taste. After eating, the service is efficient; you can either clear your own tray or wait for the staff who come by frequently to collect them. The Verdict: It is very crowded and noisy with loud music, but it’s a "must-visit" to experience the local Singaporean vibe. Just be prepared for the crowds!”
