The story
Haji Lane is a narrow street in the Kampong Glam district, historically lined with shophouses that once served the Muslim community and pilgrims travelling for the Haj. In recent decades it has been reinvented as one of Singapore's trendiest lanes, famous for its independent boutiques, quirky cafés, bars and vivid street-art murals. Its blend of heritage architecture and hipster energy makes it a favourite for browsing and photos.
