The story
MacRitchie Reservoir is Singapore's oldest reservoir, completed in the late 19th century within the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. Surrounded by mature secondary rainforest, it is a beloved spot for nature walks, trail running and kayaking. Its best-known feature is the TreeTop Walk, a suspension bridge that carries visitors high through the forest canopy.

Take the MRT to Caldecott, Marymount or Lentor stations, then a short walk, bus or taxi to the main entrance on Lornie Road. Taxi is the simplest option to the trailhead.
