How to get to Victoria Concert Hall

Every practical way in — with real routed journeys, not guesses — plus the part most visitors get wrong: leaving after the show.

The short answer

Take the MRT to City Hall MRT Station and walk about 9 minutes. Raffles Place and City Hall are each about a nine-minute walk — the Raffles Place route crosses the Singapore River on Cavenagh Bridge. Arrive 20–30 minutes early: latecomers are held outside until an interval or a suitable pause.

Free-flow driving times from our own routing engine (OSRM) — they exclude event traffic, which is the whole problem on a concert night. Add 20–40 minutes either side of a big show.

Parking

Empress Place and the Asian Civilisations Museum have limited parking; the Fullerton and One Raffles Quay car parks are the reliable options a short walk away.

Getting out after the show

The crowd is small and the surroundings are the best part of the evening: walk the river to Boat Quay or Clarke Quay for a late drink, or cross to the Merlion and the bay. Raffles Place and City Hall stations are both minutes away.

Our own public-transport planner will route you door to door from wherever you are staying, using the same OneMap engine.
