The story
The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum opened in 2007 in the heart of Chinatown, built in a striking Tang-dynasty architectural style. It is said to house a sacred tooth relic of the Buddha, displayed in a large gold stupa on an upper floor. The temple also holds galleries of Buddhist art and culture, and a peaceful rooftop garden, making it both a place of worship and a cultural landmark.
