Timing it on a concert night
- Allow about 66 minutes from HarbourFront & Sentosa — the routed 21 minutes plus a buffer for platform crowds, the walk from the station and the bag check at the gate.
- Thirty minutes is enough. Esplanade MRT (Circle Line) and City Hall (North–South / East–West) both connect by sheltered walkway; from Marina Bay hotels, the waterfront promenade walk takes 10–15 minutes. Latecomers are held until a suitable break for classical performances.
- Crowds of this size disperse without drama. City Hall and Esplanade stations are minutes away, taxis queue at the Esplanade Drive stand, and the bay-front walk back to Marina Bay Sands or Raffles Place is pleasant and well lit — often the nicest way to end the night.
