Which BTO town is the most liveable?
This page ranks every HDB town that BTO flats are launched in by our liveability score — a composite of transport, food, schools, healthcare, daily needs, green space and connectivity. Central and mature towns tend to score highest, but they're also the hardest to ballot.
What are Prime, Plus and Standard flats?
Since 2024 HDB classifies BTO projects as Prime (choicest, most central), Plus (well-located, near amenities/MRT) or Standard. Prime and Plus flats come with more subsidies but also tighter resale conditions and a longer minimum occupation period. The tiers here are indicative by town — HDB classifies each project individually.
