About the grant
What is the Proximity Housing Grant?
A CPF housing grant for buyers of a resale flat who live with or near their parents or children. Families get S$30,000 for living together, or S$20,000 for buying within 4 km; singles get half. It's on top of other grants like the Enhanced CPF Housing Grant.
How is the 4 km measured?
HDB measures the straight-line distance between your flat and your parents' or child's flat. This tool uses the same straight-line distance from the address you enter to every HDB block.
Does it apply to BTO flats?
The Proximity Housing Grant is for resale flats. For a new flat, HDB offers priority schemes (like the Married Child Priority Scheme) to ballot near your parents instead.
