Resorts World Ballroom from Marina Bay Sands
About 25 minutes door to door on public transport with 1 transfer. Driving it is 7.6 km, about 14 minutes clear of event traffic.
The short answer
Take Circle Line to Harbourfront, then SS to Imbiah Lrt Station. About 25 minutes with 1 transfer. On a show night, leave 70 minutes before you need to be at the gate.
The Marina Bay hotel cluster — Marina Bay Sands and the Marina Centre towers — sits on the Circle and Downtown lines, which reach almost every venue without going through the interchange crush at City Hall.

Driving times are our own routing over OpenStreetMap and assume clear roads. Resorts World has large basement car parks and Sentosa charges an island entry fee for vehicles. Driving is the simplest option late at night, but the exit causeway backs up when an event and the theme park empty together.
Timing it on a concert night
- Allow about 70 minutes from Marina Bay Sands — the routed 25 minutes plus a buffer for platform crowds, the walk from the station and the bag check at the gate.
- There is no MRT on the island. Take the North East or Circle Line to HarbourFront, then the Sentosa Express monorail from VivoCity level 3 (one stop to Resorts World station), or walk the covered Sentosa Boardwalk in about 15 minutes. Allow 30 minutes more than you think from the city.
- Check the last Sentosa Express and bus departures before the show — island transport stops earlier than the MRT, and the taxi queue at Resorts World after a big event is long. The Boardwalk walk back to VivoCity is the reliable fallback, and HarbourFront station runs until roughly midnight.
